Unity Leads – A Foresighted NGO

The group comprises volunteers mainly from Singanallur area as well as 1982-89 old students of NGR Matriculation School in Kamarajar Road, Singanallur.

They have joined hands to strive for the upliftment of the society and involved in many social welfare measures.

Thus born the social service organization ‘Unity Leads’ in 2015, which has a key focus on supporting the needy and downtrodden people through various social welfare measures irrespective of any barriers.
Though, the NGO is less than five years old, the feats it has achieved are innumerous.

Lead India 2020

Unity Leads volunteered the function conducted by Lead India 2020 team at Paediatric Cancer ward, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital on the eve of APJ Kalam Birth Day Celebration and spent quality time with the kids.
This was done by the invitation and advice of Lead India 2020 Tamilnadu Organizer Mr. Sathish kumar. Then Commissioner of Police CBE Mr. Viswanathan and Collector of Coimbatore Ms. Archana Pathak were presided over the program.

How We Do

Whether it is sapling plantation or healthcare camps, Unity Leads never fails to leave an indelible mark in whatever they do. So far, the organization has conducted five blood donation camps in association with Shanthi Social Service (SSS) and donated more 300 units of blood.
When Dengue fever was severely threatening Coimbatore city in 2017, Unity Leads Done distributed Nelavumbu Kashayam to the public at prominent places such as Andra Bank - Peelamedu Branch, Venkatalakshmi School, Samskaara Academy School, Singanallur Uzavar Sandhai, RS puram Old Age Home, etc.
